Ten requests are provided for those willing to go before the Father on behalf of the SEA Peoples Affinity Group. These ten requests can be read through in about 10 minutes. So little time but, oh what the Father can do through your interceding can have an amazing impact. Won’t you join with us and PRAY?

“And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” Acts 2:47

God is moving among students! In this past month, doors have been opened and many students have heard the Good News for the first time. A student team has seen God pour out His grace on students from five different countries in the past few weeks. God reaches out to each individual in exactly the way they need and lovingly calls them to Himself. CK was a free thinker. He found church to be interesting and enjoyed the friendship he felt there. One evening as he was spending time with friends, the conversation turned to spiritual things. As these friends clearly presented the Story to him, CK turned from being a free thinker to a Jesus follower.

Please pray for new believers as they follow Jesus. Pray that they would be bold in sharing their faith and encouraged in their journey with Christ. Pray that God would call many more to labor in the harvest here, whether local, short-term volunteers, or long-term workers.

There is a province which is an important crossroad for trade between several countries. This province has a large concentration of L people. The L people in this area are considered to be skilled traders and good merchants. Pray that as they travel and trade and go to market that they will meet believers who are quick to share the Good News. Pray as believers from across the border seek to reach out to the L that they will meet people with open hearts who God has been preparing to receive the Good News.

We can know about God through His Word and know His plan for the world. What a blessing to be among the few that are called to pray and intercede for the lost and build His church. The B People have no idea about God’s plan. Adm, a B brother attended a fellowship in our city for the first time. He was shocked to see the large number of Christians that day. He shared later that he thought that the only believers in the world were the small he knew. What a responsibility we have as those who know and have the Word in our heart language. Pray that as His children we use our resources and means to strive toward God’s plan for the church in Revelation 7:9.

Mr. Gal is bound up in the sin of pride and idolatry. Mr. Gal has been the religious man of the village for many, many years. He gives auspicious dates when young couples can marry and he teaches at the temple. He is also the one who is called upon when someone is ill. He has heard the Story several times in his heart language and has confessed that he believes that Jesus came and that God is the Most High. He confessed this one day but said that if he shares this with others he will no longer be paid for the religious work that he does. Pray that Mr. Gal’s heart will be changed.

Recently, workers made a trip to T and N areas and shared the Good News with the people there. Three N people made decisions to follow the Son! “Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.” Psalm 95:1-2 (NIV)

Pray for a believing family who recently moved to a T village in order to share the story of the Son with them. This family had previously confessed their hatred of the T people to the Father and then felt called to live among the T. Pray that this family would be bold and effective in sharing. Also pray that the T people’s hearts would be open and receptive to the truth.

“Repent, therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.” Acts 3:19-21 Awesome, powerful words. Difficult words. If you think about the meaning behind these words, you see a glimpse of some of the difficulties of putting these words into another language in order for the reader to understand them. Pray for revisions on the first draft of a portion of the Word. Father, we ask that the readers would understand and heed these words, that they would know you and the refreshing that comes only through your presence, the hope that only you can bring.

Please continue to pray for the community where many new followers were recently dunked. Followers felt led to move into the community to be able to follow up and train those who have come to believe. A community leader, however, is reacting to what is taking place and trying to remove them from the village. Please pray that they will have boldness and courage and wisdom in this, that believers will be challenged and grow as they see a faithful response to pressure and above all that He will be glorified in it all.

We were invited to spend the night across the river. This may not sound like a big deal, but it is the first time we’ve been able to spend much time there. Our contact is a single guy who lives in a house by the river. He has no running water and, like most in his area, uses the river for ALL of his water needs. He is currently out of work and fills his day with odd jobs. Could this be our person of peace? Could he be the first believer? …or even the first to catch a vision for his own people and become one who draws many others? Pray for wisdom and discernment as we spend time with our friend. Ask that the Father speak clearly, using these new circumstances for His glory.

The teams began to thrive in their locations, sharing daily and meeting many lost people all over the island. They were able to lead 2 into the kingdom from a local village. They lived among them, sowed in their fields, washed clothes in the river with the ladies, shopped in the market – lived “like them” among them. It was an exciting time for them. They have been faithful, even in the midst of mild illness and being away from all comforts and “normals.” Pray for seeds that have been sown to bear fruit, much fruit.
